Autism Awareness Australia

It was great to see Autism in the media, and we hope the exposure leads to a greater understanding in the community.

Autism Awareness Expo

Autism Awareness Expo
On the 12th of May, an Expo was held at Macquarie University to share information about all available services for families dealing with Autism. Autism is very much a user pays disability, chronically underfunded by governments. In the last fifteen years effective treatments have become available in Australia, and families are left to struggle to put the pieces together – and pay for it.
A beautiful TV commercial was produced for the day and aired around the country during the following week. Plans are in place to make the commercial available via the Expo website here
