Rochelle Appleby
Rochelle is the parent of Alexander who is diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder. Rochelle has been a classroom teacher from 1997 until 2005, working with many children with learning difficulties in her classroom and also as a support teacher specifically for these children.
Rochelle has been administering her son’s intervention program since his diagnosis, integrating therapies with the aid of other professionals. Rochelle has also been assisting other families with their programs.
Rochelle has attended training courses for the PECS visual communication system, ABA therapy and Someone to Turn To™ parent support. Rochelle has also consulted with ASPECT on the revised version of their Play Manual.
Rochelle has completed the RDI® Certification Training and is available to deliver RDI® services to other families.

Margaret Appleby
Margaret has worked for more than 30 years teaching in mainstream primary schools. During this time she has worked as a classroom teacher as well as many years experience as a support teacher assisting children with learning and behaviour difficulties. Margaret has trained as a Reading Recovery teacher and worked in this role for a number of years.
Margaret is Alexander’s grandmother, and since his diagnosis she has trained in Applied Behavioural Analysis techniques and has worked as a therapist for Alexander. She has also undertaken training in the Picture Exchange Communication System (PECS).
Margaret has also completed RDI® Certification Training and is available to deliver RDI® services to other families in Sydney or Newcastle.

David Appleby
David is Alexander’s father.
David provides administration and management support to allow our other staff to concentrate on helping families and children without unnecessary interruption.
David is also available to provide some support with technical aspects of our services, such as recording video and transferring to DVD for submission.
